Barnhart, et al. v. Safeway was one of four class action lawsuits Goldstein, Demchak, Baller, Borgen & Dardarian litigated challenging job segregation and lack of promotional opportunities for women and minorities in large grocery store chains in California.  The case was settled for $7.5 million and injunctive relief.
