On November 10, 2011, the Alameda County Superior Court gave preliminary approval to a $35 million proposed class action settlement in Garcia, et al. v. Oracle. Notice of the proposed settlement was mailed on December 20, 2011. The class action is filed on behalf of about 1,700 quality assurance engineers, customer support engineers, and project managers who have worked for Oracle (and Peoplesoft) in California.
