In
Meyn, et al. v. Peet’s, filed in Alameda County Superior Court, California Store Managers allege that they had to work “off the clock” without pay and to work through their meal periods in order to meet all of the job requirements that Peet’s expected them to meet. The Court granted final approval of a $2.6 million settlement on 9/1/10. On December 10, 2010, checks were mailed to qualifying class members.
Individualized notices were mailed to class members on 5/21/10.
The claims deadline for former employees has passed. Class members who were still working for Peet's as of 3/14/10 did not need to submit a claim to receive their share of the settlement.
